For this build, I used airbrushing to establish the base tone, then applied hand-painting techniques to bring out the uneven, bumpy surface textures. The goal was to replicate the lived-in look of carrier-based aircraft—where metal fatigue, salt exposure, and heavy use created complex surface variations. This approach allowed me to explore how brushwork could enhance the panel lines, rivet details, and subtle reflections under natural light.
