Bare metal finish presentation with a brushed metallic texture. The surface texture was initially developed by airbrushing fine directional stripes during the pre-shading stage. Although the final build took a different direction, this reflects my ongoing personal preference for experimenting with various techniques to represent metal aircraft surfaces.
Trying to replicate the metallic texture of a bare metal finished aircraft. I used lacquer as the base, then layered it with oil paints and brushstrokes. The results are still experimental and not quite the ideal solution.
