DCS is hiring php programming contractor.  We are seeking for experienced programmer with LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) experience. You will be paid by job hours and you will work from your own place.

Because a few of our major clients are running bi-lingual web sites, you are required to read and speak both Chinese and English.

DCS, established since 2001, is well-known for developing highly-customized eCommerce platforms to clients from all industries. Also, we’ve been the database application developer to many companies and organizations. We have continued to maintain and improve these applications as ongoing bases for many years.

Position Responsibilities:
* Work with a team to develop custom-made eCommerce stores based on X-cart
* Develop and maintain proprietary applications in php/MySQL based CMS, such as WordPress, XOOPS, Postnuke
* Develop & maintain php proprietary codes and application base on project spec

Requirements:
* Experience with PHP
* Experience with Smarty Tag
* Experience with Linux and Apache
* Experience with JavaScript/AJAX
* Experience with MySQL and relational databases
* HTML fluency
* Understanding of how high volume environment can affect coding approach
* Self-motivated problem solver
* Good communication skills in both English and Chinese

Bonus Qualifications:
* Dynamic and database driven Flash Applications
* Experience with XML

We need to see a list of (real cases) in which you were a major contributor in the software development and program coding.
